4. Setup Guide
4.1 App Download & Account Creation
- Download the AiDot App from your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You can scan the QR code provided in the Quick Setup Guide for direct access.
- Open the AiDot App and create an account. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete registration.
4.2 Camera Connection
- Connect the camera to the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet. The camera will power on.
- In the AiDot App, tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Select the winees F2X camera model.
- Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz or 5GHz) as the camera during the initial setup.
- The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Choose the frequency with the stronger signal for optimal performance.

4.3 Physical Installation
- Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting the camera. Consider factors like Wi-Fi signal strength, power source proximity, and desired surveillance area.
- Use the provided mounting template (if included) to mark drill holes. Drill pilot holes and insert the expansion screws.
- Secure the camera's metal base to the mounting surface using the provided screws. Adjust the camera angle as needed.
- Ensure the power cable and any optional Ethernet cable connections are properly sealed using the waterproof connector to prevent water ingress.

5. Operating Instructions
Once your camera is set up and connected to the AiDot App, you can access and control its features from your smartphone.
5.1 Live View & Recording
- Open the AiDot App and select your camera to view the live feed.
- Tap the 'Record' button to manually start/stop video recording.
- Use the 'Snap' button to capture still images from the live view.
5.2 Two-Way Audio
- Tap the 'Speak' icon in the app to initiate two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be projected through the camera's speaker.
- Listen to audio from the camera's surroundings through your phone.

5.3 Spotlight & Alarm
- Manually activate the spotlight via the 'Light' icon in the app.
- Trigger the built-in alarm sound using the 'Alarm' icon to deter intruders.
5.4 Event Playback & AI Detection
- Access recorded events by navigating to the 'Events' tab in the app.
- Review footage triggered by AI detection (person, vehicle, package, glass break, smoke/CO alarm).
- Videos can be stored on a 128GB micro SD card (not included) or via a secure cloud service (subscription may apply after trial).

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cable connections for wear, damage, or loose fittings, especially the waterproof seals for outdoor installations.
- Firmware Updates: Keep the camera's firmware updated through the AiDot App to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
- Storage Management: Regularly review and manage your recorded footage on the SD card or cloud storage to ensure sufficient space.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera Offline: Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Ensure the camera is powered on and connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Restart the camera and your router if necessary.
- Poor Video Quality: Verify your Wi-Fi connection is stable. Switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to see if performance improves. Ensure the lens is clean.
- Night Vision Issues: Ensure the spotlight is enabled for color night vision. Check for obstructions blocking the camera's view or the spotlight.
- No Alerts: Confirm AI detection settings are configured correctly in the AiDot App. Check your phone's notification settings for the app.
- Connectivity Issues: If using an Ethernet connection, ensure the cable is securely plugged in and the waterproof connector is properly sealed.
