Main Control Panel

Setup

Initial Setup

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided AC power adapter to the control panel and plug it into a wall outlet. The panel will power on.
2. SIM Card Installation (Optional): If using GSM features, insert a valid 2G GSM SIM card into the designated slot on the control panel. Ensure the SIM card is activated and has credit.
3. App Download: Download the "Homcloud" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (compatible with Android and iOS).
4. Wi-Fi Configuration: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the control panel to your home or business Wi-Fi network. This typically involves putting the panel into pairing mode and entering your Wi-Fi credentials in the app.

Component Pairing

Pairing sensors and remote controls with the main panel:

1. Enter Pairing Mode: On the control panel, navigate to the "Add Device" or "Pairing" menu (refer to the panel's display for specific prompts).
2. Activate Sensor/Remote: For sensors, trigger them (e.g., separate the door/window sensor, wave hand in front of PIR). For remotes, press any button. The panel should register the device.
3. Assign Zone (if prompted): Assign each sensor to a specific zone (e.g., "Main Door," "Living Room PIR") for easier identification of triggered alarms.
4. Test Pairing: After pairing, test each device to ensure it communicates correctly with the control panel.

• Control Panel: Place in a central location, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and within Wi-Fi range.
• PIR Motion Sensor: Mount at a height of 2-2.2 meters (6.5-7.2 feet) in a corner or on a wall, ensuring a clear line of sight to the area to be protected. Avoid pointing towards heat sources or windows where direct sunlight or drafts might cause false alarms.
• Door/Window Sensor: Mount one part on the door/window frame and the other on the moving part of the door/window, ensuring they are aligned and within 1 cm (0.4 inches) when closed.
• General: Use the provided mounting hardware or strong adhesive pads for secure installation.

Operating Instructions

Arming the System

• Full Arm (Away Mode): Press the Arm button on the control panel or remote, or select "Arm" in the app. All sensors will be active.
• Stay Arm (Home Mode): Press the Stay Arm button on the control panel or remote, or select "Stay Arm" in the app. Typically, perimeter sensors (door/window) are active, while internal motion sensors are bypassed, allowing free movement inside.

Disarming the System

To disarm the system and prevent alarms:

• Press the Disarm button on the control panel or remote.
• Enter your user password on the control panel keypad when prompted.
• Select "Disarm" in the Homcloud/Smart Life app.

SOS Function
