The Mcilpoog WS-201 is a fully automatic espresso machine designed for convenience and quality. It features a touch screen interface, integrated bean grinder, and a manual steam wand, allowing for a variety of coffee beverages from espresso to lattes.
2. Safety Instructions
- Always connect the appliance to a grounded power outlet.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Keep children away from the appliance during operation. Hot surfaces and steam can cause burns.
- Unplug the machine before cleaning and when not in use.
- Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. Contact qualified service personnel for repair.
- Use only cold, fresh water in the water tank.
- Never put anything other than coffee beans in the bean hopper.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials and protective films.
- Place the machine on a stable, level surface, away from heat sources and water.
- Ensure adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to components.
4.2 Initial Preparation
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Turn on the main power switch located at the back of the machine.
- The machine will perform an initial rinse cycle. Place a container under the coffee spout to collect the water.
5. Operating Instructions
The Mcilpoog WS-201 features a full touch screen for easy operation.

5.1 Making Espresso
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the bean hopper contains fresh coffee beans.
- Place a cup under the coffee spout. The spout height is adjustable.
- On the touch screen, select the 'Espresso' option.
- The machine will automatically grind the beans, brew, and dispense the espresso.

5.2 Using the Manual Steam Wand
- Fill a milk pitcher with cold milk.
- Position the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Select the 'Steam' option on the touch screen.
- Steam the milk until it reaches the desired temperature and froth consistency.
- Turn off the steam function. Wipe the steam wand immediately after use with a damp cloth.
5.3 Hot Water Dispensing
- Place a cup under the hot water spout.
- Select the 'Hot Water' option on the touch screen.
- The machine will dispense hot water. Press the button again to stop.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.
6.1 Cleaning the Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Box
- The machine will alert you when the drip tray or coffee grounds box needs emptying.
- Carefully pull out the drip tray and coffee grounds box from the front of the machine.
- Empty and rinse both components with warm water. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.

6.2 Cleaning the Brewing Unit
- Open the brewing door on the side of the machine.
- Press the 'PUSH' button and pull the brewing unit out.
- Rinse the brewing unit thoroughly under running water.
- Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
6.3 Descaling
The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Follow the instructions provided with your descaling solution and the machine's on-screen prompts.
