Setup Guide
1. Unboxing and Initial Placement
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the self-emptying station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front and 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) to either side. Connect the power cord to the station.

3. Charging the Robot
Place the Botslab S8 Plus robot onto the charging contacts of the self-emptying station. Ensure the charging indicators on the robot illuminate. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use, which typically takes several hours.
4. App Download and Wi-Fi Connection
Download the Botslab App from your mobile device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This is essential for accessing smart features like mapping, scheduling, and remote control.

Starting a Cleaning Cycle

Long Running Time and Self Recharging
A powerful 5000 mAh battery allows the S8 Plus to run for up to 3 hours (250 minutes in quiet mode), sufficient for cleaning large areas. It automatically returns to the charging base when the battery is low.

Dustbin and Dust Bag: The 4L dust bag in the self-emptying station needs replacement approximately 5 times a year, depending on usage. The robot's internal dustbin should be checked and cleaned periodically.
Brushes: Clean the main brush and side brushes weekly to remove tangled hair and debris. Replace them as needed according to wear.
Filters: Clean the filter regularly. Replace it every 1-3 months to maintain suction efficiency.
Sensors: Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, charging contacts) with a clean, dry cloth monthly to ensure proper navigation and charging.
Mop Pad: Wash the mop pad after each mopping session and replace it when worn out.
