1. Introduction and Overview

4. Setup and Assembly

The LawnMaster CLM2413A comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your mower for use.

4.1 Attaching the Handlebars

Insert the lower handlebar sections into the designated slots on the mower housing. Secure them using the provided bolts and locking knobs. Attach the upper handlebar section, ensuring the cable is routed correctly and secured with the cable clips to prevent tangling.

4.2 Installing the Grass Collection Bag

Assemble the grass collection bag by connecting the bottom and top pieces. Lift the rear safety flap of the mower and align the bag's notches with the mower's frame. Slide the bag into place until it clicks securely under the safety flap.

4.3 Battery Installation

Open the transparent battery compartment cover on top of the mower. Align the ribs on the battery pack with the grooves inside the compartment. Slide the 24V MAX* 4.0Ah battery into place until it clicks. Ensure the safety key is fully inserted into its slot next to the battery. Close the battery compartment cover firmly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Mower

With the battery and safety key correctly installed, press and hold the start button on the handlebar. While holding the button, pull the orange handle bar towards you to engage the motor. You can then release the start button.

5.2 Adjusting Cutting Height

The mower offers 5 cutting positions, ranging from 1-inch to 2.55-inch. To adjust the cutting height, locate the one-touch lever near the wheels. Pull the lever outwards and move it up or down to select your desired cutting height. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.

5.3 Mowing Tips

For optimal performance, mow in straight, overlapping lines. The mower's lightweight design (23.15 lbs.) and 5.51-inch wheels provide excellent maneuverability, especially in tighter spaces. The mower's intelligent motor will automatically adjust power output based on grass density, conserving battery life when mowing lighter areas and increasing power for thicker patches.

6. Maintenance

6.1 General Cleaning

After each use, disconnect the battery and safety key. Wipe down the mower deck and exterior with a damp cloth to remove grass clippings and debris. Ensure the underside of the deck is clear of any buildup to maintain optimal cutting performance.

6.2 Battery Care

Always store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Fully charge batteries before long-term storage to prolong their lifespan. Use only the provided charger for optimal battery health.

7. Troubleshooting
