6. Setup and Installation
6.1 DIN Rail Mounting
The OONO D-1439 module is designed for easy installation on standard DIN rails (35mm, 32mm, or 15mm width). To mount the module:
- Align the module's integrated carrier with the DIN rail.
- Press the module firmly onto the rail until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the module is securely fastened and does not wobble.

Video 6.1: This video demonstrates the physical installation process of the OONO D-1439 module onto a DIN rail, showing how to properly align and secure the unit. The video also briefly showcases the various configurations of the module (e.g., 1-channel, 4-channel, 8-channel versions) and its internal schematic diagram.
6.2 Wiring Instructions
Refer to the schematic diagram and connection method for proper wiring. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Input Power Connection: Connect the main AC power supply to the INPUT terminal block. The terminals are labeled 'N' (Neutral) and 'L' (Line). Ensure correct polarity.
- Output Load Connection: Connect your loads to the respective OUT1 through OUT8 terminal blocks. Each output has 'L' (Line) and 'N' (Neutral) terminals.
- Wire Preparation: Strip approximately 8mm of insulation from the wire ends. Insert the stripped wire into the terminal block and tighten the M3 screw securely.

7. Operation
7.1 Powering On/Off
Each channel is controlled by an individual rocker switch with an integrated thermal circuit breaker.
- To turn a channel ON, press the rocker switch to the 'RESET' position. The red indicator light on the switch will illuminate, indicating normal output.
- To turn a channel OFF, press the rocker switch to the 'OFF' position. The red indicator light will turn off.
7.2 Overload Protection
The integrated thermal circuit breakers protect against overcurrent conditions. If an overload occurs on a channel:
- The circuit breaker for that channel will trip, automatically moving the rocker switch to the 'OFF' position.
- The red indicator light for that channel will turn off.
- To reset the breaker after an overload, first identify and resolve the cause of the overload. Then, press the rocker switch back to the 'RESET' position.
8. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage.
- Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the module to prevent overheating.
9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power to a channel, switch is OFF. | Channel is intentionally off or circuit breaker tripped due to overload. | If intentionally off, switch to RESET. If tripped, identify and remove the overload, then reset the switch. |
| Red indicator light is off when switch is in RESET position. | Output disconnected or no power to the module. | Check main input power. Verify load connection. If the breaker repeatedly trips, there may be a persistent overload or short circuit. |
| Module feels excessively hot. | Overloaded channels or insufficient ventilation. | Reduce load on channels. Ensure proper airflow around the module. Check total current draw against maximum ratings. |
