4.1 Front View

4.2 Rear View and Ports

The rear of the monitor houses various connectivity ports for video input, USB devices, and network connections.

5. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Monitor: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Assemble the Stand: Attach the stand base to the stand column, then attach the assembled stand to the monitor panel. Ensure all connections are secure. Refer to the Quick Setup Poster for detailed assembly steps.
  3. Connect Video Cable:
    • For USB-C connectivity (video, data, and power): Connect the supplied USB Type-C to Type-C cable from your computer's USB-C port to the monitor's USB-C upstream port.
    • For DisplayPort connectivity: Connect the supplied DisplayPort cable from your computer's DisplayPort output to the monitor's DisplayPort input.
    • For HDMI connectivity: Connect the supplied HDMI cable from your computer's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input.
  4. Connect USB Upstream Cable (if not using USB-C for data): If using DisplayPort or HDMI for video, connect the supplied USB Type-A to USB-B cable from your computer's USB-A port to the monitor's USB-B upstream port to enable the monitor's USB-A downstream ports and webcam/microphone.
  5. Connect Power: Connect the AC power cord to the monitor's power input, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Power On: Press the power button on the monitor. The monitor should automatically detect the input signal.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom right of the monitor bezel to turn the monitor on or off. The monitor also supports Single Power On, allowing it to turn on your connected laptop (even with the lid closed) by pressing the monitor's power button when connected via USB-C.

6.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

Use the OSD buttons (typically located on the bottom bezel) to navigate and adjust monitor settings such as brightness, contrast, color, input source, and picture modes. Refer to the full user guide for detailed OSD menu navigation.

6.3 Webcam and Microphone Usage

The integrated 5MP webcam is designed to pop up when needed. To activate, gently push down on the top edge of the webcam module until it extends. To retract and disable the camera and microphone for privacy, gently push the webcam module back into the monitor bezel until it clicks into place.

6.4 KVM Functionality

The monitor features integrated KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) functionality, allowing you to switch between two connected computers using the same keyboard and mouse connected to the monitor's USB-A ports. This feature is typically managed through the OSD menu or HP Display Center software.

6.5 USB-C Power Delivery

When connected via USB-C, the monitor can deliver up to 100W of power to charge compatible laptops, simplifying cable management.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
  • Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

8. Troubleshooting
