1. Introduction and Overview

The Munchkin Portable Changing Pad XL is designed to simplify diaper changes for parents on the go. This lightweight and compact changing mat provides a clean, cushioned surface for your baby, whether you are at home or traveling. 2. Setup

1. Unpack: Remove the changing pad from its packaging.
2. Unfold: Unbuckle the front closure and unfold the pad completely to reveal the changing surface and internal compartments.
3. Load Wipes: Open the wipes dispenser compartment. Insert your preferred baby wipes into the included wipes case and place it back into the designated slot. The wipes case is detachable for easy refilling.
4. Load Disposal Bags: The kit includes 12 diaper disposal bags. Load the roll into the small dispenser pocket located on the side. This pocket is also designed for easy refilling.
5. Organize: Utilize the mesh pockets and zippered compartments to store additional items such as extra diapers, creams, or a change of clothes.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare for Change: Lay the changing pad on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the waterproof changing surface is clean.
2. Position Baby: Gently place your baby on the generously sized changing surface. The extra-large dimensions (28 x 22 inches) provide ample space.
3. Access Supplies: The detachable wipes and bag compartments can be accessed easily, even when the kit is partially folded, allowing for quick retrieval of necessary items.
4. Diaper Change: Proceed with the diaper change using the stored wipes and disposal bags.
5. Growth Chart: The changing pad features a built-in growth chart. Periodically measure your baby's length on the pad to track their growth.
6. Repack: After use, clean the pad as instructed in the Maintenance section. Fold the pad back into its compact form and secure it with the buckle.

4. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Pad: The changing surface is durable and wipe-clean. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to clean any spills or messes.
• Drying: Allow the pad to air dry completely before folding and storing to prevent mildew.
• Wipes Case: Periodically clean the wipes case with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure it is dry before refilling with wipes.
• Storage: Store the changing pad in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

• Wipes Drying Out: Ensure the lid of the wipes case is securely closed after each use to prevent wipes from drying out. If using a different brand of wipes, confirm the case provides an airtight seal.
• Difficulty Folding: Ensure all compartments are properly closed and items are neatly stored before attempting to fold the pad. Avoid overfilling pockets.
• Pad Slipping: Always place the changing pad on a stable, flat surface. The Silver-Ion Technology is for hygiene, not anti-slip properties.
