4. Assembly and Setup
- Attach Camera to Base: Secure your camera to the baseplate using the integrated 1/4” thumb screw. Ensure the camera is firmly seated on the enlarged silicone pad to prevent movement and scratches.
- Mount Dual Grips: Slide the dual grips onto the side rails of the cage. Use the adjustment knobs to secure them in your desired position for comfortable handling.
- Install Top Handle: Attach the top handle to the top plate of the cage using the provided 1/4” screws. This handle is ideal for low-angle shots and provides an additional grip point.
- Attach 15mm Rods: Insert the two 15mm rods into the dual-rod base. Use the 15mm rod release knobs to adjust their position and secure them. These rods are used for mounting additional accessories like a follow focus or matte box.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Handheld Operation
- Grasp the cage with the two contoured handgrips for stable shooting.
- Hold the top silicone handle for low-angle shots, providing a comfortable and secure grip.
5.2 Tripod Mounting
There are two primary methods to mount the camera cage on a tripod:
- Screw the dual-rod base directly to a quick-release plate via the 1/4” screw holes.
- Remove the dual-rod base and secure the cage directly to the tripod using the integrated Arca-type base.
5.3 Accessory Mounting
Utilize the numerous 1/4” and 3/8” female threads, cold shoes, and ARRI locating holes on the cage to attach various accessories such as microphones, field monitors, LED lights, and more, customizing your rig for specific shooting needs.
