Setup Guide

1. Base Unit Connection

Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a telephone wall jack.
Plug one AC adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
Ensure the corded handset is securely connected to the base unit.

2. Cordless Handset Setup

Install the provided battery pack into the cordless handset, ensuring correct polarity.
Place the cordless handset into its charging cradle. The CHARGE light on the handset should illuminate, indicating it is charging.
Allow the cordless handset to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.

3. Wall Mounting (Optional)

The base unit can be mounted on a wall for convenience. Use the included wall mount bracket and follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide for secure installation.

Operating Instructions

Making and Receiving Calls

To Make a Call: Lift the corded handset or press TALK/FLASH on the cordless handset. Dial the number.
To Answer a Call: Lift the corded handset or press any dialing key (0-9, #, *) or TALK/FLASH on the cordless handset.
To End a Call: Place the corded handset back on the cradle or press OFF/CANCEL on the cordless handset.

Using the Speakerphone

Both the corded base unit and the cordless handset feature full-duplex speakerphones for hands-free communication.

To Activate: During a call, press the SPEAKER button on the base or the SPEAKER button on the cordless handset.
To Deactivate: Press the SPEAKER button again or lift the handset.

Answering System Operation

The integrated digital answering system can record up to 22 minutes of messages.

Playing Messages: Press PLAY/STOP on the base unit.
Skipping Messages: Press SKIP (>>) during playback.
Repeating Messages: Press REPEAT (<<) during playback.
Deleting Messages: Press DELETE while a message is playing.
Remote Access: You can access your messages remotely by calling your phone number and entering your remote access code. Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions.

Call Blocking

Block unwanted calls by adding numbers to the call block list. A Caller ID subscription is required for this feature.

To Block a Number: While on a call or reviewing Caller ID history, press the CALL BLOCK button (if available) or navigate through the menu to add the number to the block list.
The system can store up to 150 blocked numbers.

Phonebook and Caller ID

Phonebook: Store up to 50 names and numbers for quick dialing.
Caller ID History: Review the last 30 incoming calls.
Redial List: Access the last 10 dialed numbers.

Line-Power Mode

In the event of a power outage, the corded base unit can operate using line power, allowing you to make and receive calls with the corded handset and base keypad.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the phone and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals.
Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid overcharging by not leaving the cordless handset on the charger for extended periods after it is fully charged. If the phone will not be used for a long time, remove the battery from the cordless handset.
Storage: Store the phone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Solution
No dial tone.	Ensure the telephone line cord is securely connected to both the base unit and the wall jack. Check if the AC adapter is properly plugged into the base unit and a working electrical outlet. If using the cordless handset, ensure the battery is charged.
Cordless handset not charging.	Verify the cordless handset is correctly seated in the charging cradle. Check the AC adapter connection for the charging cradle. Ensure the battery pack is properly installed in the handset.
Cannot hear caller / Caller cannot hear me.	Adjust the volume using the VOLUME buttons. Ensure the handset is not muted. Check the telephone line cord connection.
Answering machine not recording messages.	Check if the answering system is turned ON. Ensure there is enough recording time available (max 22 minutes). Verify the phone line is active and receiving calls.
