Setup
1. Connecting the Base Unit
Connect the AC adapter to the base unit and plug it into a power outlet. Connect the telephone line cord to the base unit and then to your telephone wall jack.
2. Installing the Battery
Open the battery compartment on the back of the cordless handset. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment. Place the battery pack into the compartment and close the cover.
3. Charging the Handset
Place the cordless handset in the base unit with the display facing forward. The handset will begin charging. For optimal battery performance, charge the handset for at least 16 hours before initial use.

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To make a call: Press TALK, then dial the number.
- To receive a call: Press TALK when the phone rings.
- To end a call: Press OFF or place the handset back in the base.
Full-Duplex Speakerphone
The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone, allowing both parties to speak and be heard simultaneously for more natural conversations.
- To activate speakerphone during a call: Press the SPEAKER button (often integrated with the volume button or a dedicated icon).
- To switch back to handset mode: Press the TALK button again.

Caller ID and Call Waiting
The backlit display shows the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. If you subscribe to Caller ID and Call Waiting services, the phone will display the second caller's information while you are on an active call.
- To review Caller ID log: Press CID to scroll through recent calls.
- To return a call from Caller ID log: Select the desired entry and press TALK.

Phonebook Directory
Store up to 30 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing.
- To access phonebook: Press MENU/SELECT, then navigate to the Phonebook option.

- To dial from phonebook: Navigate to the desired entry and press TALK.

Redial
The phone stores the last 5 numbers dialed for quick redialing.
- To redial: Press REDIAL, then select the desired number from the list and press TALK.

Handset Paging
If you misplace your handset, you can use the paging feature to locate it.
- To page the handset: Press the PAGE button on the base unit. The handset will ring.
