General Safety Instructions

- Do not vacuum toxic, carcinogenic, or other hazardous materials such as asbestos, arsenic, barium, beryllium, lead, pesticides, or other health-endangering materials.

- Ensure the battery pack is securely installed before operation and removed before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Greenworks G24WDV operates with a 24V Greenworks battery (not included in all sets). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the vacuum.
- Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely latched.
- To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.
2. Attaching Hose and Accessories
The vacuum comes with a flexible hose and various attachments for different cleaning applications.

- Insert the end of the flexible hose into the suction port on the front of the vacuum until it is firmly seated.
- Select the desired cleaning attachment (e.g., crevice tool, wide nozzle) and attach it to the other end of the hose.
- For the blower function, attach the hose to the blower port located on the rear of the vacuum.
3. Filter Installation
The vacuum uses a dual filtration system, including a HEPA filter, for optimal performance.

- Open the vacuum's lid by releasing the latches.
- Ensure the HEPA filter is correctly seated over the filter cage.
- For dry vacuuming, ensure the dry filter is in place. For wet vacuuming, remove the dry filter and ensure the foam filter (if applicable) is installed.
- Close the lid securely with the latches.
Operating Instructions
1. Wet Vacuuming
When vacuuming liquids, ensure the dry filter is removed and the foam filter (if provided) is installed. Do not overfill the tank.

- Prepare the vacuum for wet use as described in the filter installation section.
- Turn on the vacuum using the power switch.
- Guide the nozzle over the liquid spill. The vacuum will automatically shut off when the tank is full.
- Empty the tank immediately after wet vacuuming to prevent damage.
2. Dry Vacuuming
For dry debris, ensure the HEPA filter and dry filter are correctly installed.

- Ensure the vacuum is set up for dry use.
- Turn on the vacuum.
- Move the nozzle over the dry debris to collect it.
3. Blower Function
The vacuum can be converted into a blower for clearing light debris.

- Attach the hose to the blower port on the rear of the vacuum.
- Turn on the vacuum.
- Direct the airflow to clear dust and light debris from surfaces.
4. Speed Settings
The vacuum offers two speed levels. Use the control switch to select the appropriate speed for your task. Higher speed provides stronger suction for tougher jobs, while lower speed conserves battery life for lighter cleaning.
5. Emptying the Tank
Regularly empty the tank to maintain optimal suction and prevent overflow during wet vacuuming.
- Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery.
- Release the latches and remove the lid assembly.
- Carefully pour out the collected debris or liquid into an appropriate disposal container.
- Clean the inside of the tank if necessary before reassembling.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your vacuum.
1. Cleaning the Filter
The HEPA filter is washable and reusable. Clean it regularly to maintain suction power.

- Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery.
- Remove the lid assembly and carefully detach the HEPA filter.
- Rinse the filter under running water until clean. Do not use hot water or detergents.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a heat source to dry.
- For foam filters used in wet applications, rinse and air dry as well.
2. Cleaning the Tank
After each use, especially after wet vacuuming, clean the tank to prevent odors and mold growth.
- Empty the tank as described in the operating instructions.
- Wipe the inside of the tank with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the tank to air dry completely before reassembling the vacuum.
3. General Cleaning
Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Check the hose and attachments for blockages and clear them as needed.
