1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Sharp FM Clock Radio with Bluetooth Speaker and USB Charging Port. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and to maximize your user experience.

2. Setup
2.1 Power Connection
Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit and then plug it into a standard household wall outlet. The unit will power on and the display will illuminate.
2.2 Battery Backup
For battery backup functionality, insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. The battery backup is designed to store time and alarm settings during power interruptions. During battery backup operation, the clock's display will not be lit to conserve power. The display will re-illuminate once power is restored.
3. Controls and Display
Familiarize yourself with the control buttons located on the top of the unit and the information displayed on the front panel.

- ALARM 1 / ALARM 2: Used to set and activate/deactivate Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.
- TIME SET: Used to set the current time.
- SNOOZE / SLEEP: Activates the snooze function for alarms or sets the sleep timer for radio playback.
- VOL + / VOL -: Adjusts the volume level.
- PRESET: Saves and recalls FM radio station presets.
- FM / PM / OFF: Toggles between FM radio, PM indicator for time, and turns the unit off.
- Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows): Used to tune FM radio stations or adjust time/alarm settings.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET button until the hour display flashes.
- Use the Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows) to adjust the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Press TIME SET again to confirm the hour, and the minute display will flash.
- Use the Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows) to adjust the minutes.
- Press TIME SET once more to save the time.
4.2 Setting Alarms (Dual Alarms)
The unit features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button until the alarm hour display flashes.
- Use the Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows) to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.
- Press the respective ALARM button again to confirm the hour, and the minute display will flash.
- Use the Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows) to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the ALARM button again to select the alarm source: BUZZ (standard buzzer) or RADIO (FM radio). The corresponding indicator will light up.
- Press the ALARM button once more to save the alarm setting. The alarm indicator will remain lit when the alarm is active.
4.3 Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE / SLEEP button to temporarily silence the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after this period.
4.4 FM Radio Operation
- Press the FM / PM / OFF button to turn on the FM radio.
- Use the Tuning Buttons (Left/Right Arrows) to manually tune to your desired FM station. Press and hold the tuning buttons for automatic scanning to the next available station.
- To save a preset: While listening to a station, press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes. Use the Tuning Buttons to select a preset number (1-10), then press PRESET again to save.
- To recall a preset: Briefly press the PRESET button repeatedly to cycle through saved stations.
- Adjust volume using the VOL + / VOL - buttons.
4.5 Bluetooth Speaker Operation
The unit can stream audio wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices.

- Press the FM / PM / OFF button until the Bluetooth indicator (a small Bluetooth icon) appears on the display and flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "SHARP" from the list.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio from your device to the clock radio.
- Adjust playback volume using the VOL + / VOL - buttons on the clock radio or your connected device.
4.6 USB Charging Port
The unit features a 2 Amp USB charging port on the back. Connect your compatible device's USB charging cable to this port to charge it. The 2 Amp output provides faster charging for most devices compared to standard 1 Amp ports.
4.7 Sleep Timer Function
To fall asleep to the radio, activate the sleep timer:
- While the radio is playing, press the SNOOZE / SLEEP button. The display will show the default sleep time (e.g., 90 minutes).
- Press the SNOOZE / SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
- Battery Replacement: Replace AAA backup batteries annually or when the unit experiences frequent power interruptions to ensure settings are retained.
6. Troubleshooting
