4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the Neck Strap

  1. Thread the ends of the neck strap through the strap loops on each side of the binoculars.
  2. Adjust the strap length to a comfortable position for carrying around your neck.

4.2 Adjusting Interpupillary Distance

The interpupillary distance is the distance between the centers of your pupils. To adjust:

  1. Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them.
  2. Bend the body of the binoculars until you see a single, clear circular field of view.

4.3 Adjusting Eyecups

The eyecups can be adjusted for comfortable viewing, especially if you wear glasses:

  • For non-glasses wearers: Twist the eyecups counter-clockwise until they are fully extended.
  • For glasses wearers: Twist the eyecups clockwise until they are fully retracted. This allows your eyes to be closer to the eyepiece lenses, providing a full field of view.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Focusing the Binoculars

To achieve a sharp image:

  1. Close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece. Rotate the central focus wheel until the image is clear and sharp.
  2. Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (located on the right eyepiece) until the image is clear and sharp.
  3. Now, with both eyes open, use only the central focus wheel to focus on objects at varying distances. The diopter setting should remain constant for your vision.
