4. Gameplay (Operating Instructions)

The objective of the game is to be the last player remaining with Flurbo currency, having driven all other players into bankruptcy.

4.1. Starting the Game

Each player rolls both dice. The player with the highest total starts the game. Play proceeds clockwise.

4.2. Player Turn Sequence

On your turn, follow these steps:

  1. Roll the Dice: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated.
  2. Action Based on Space: The action you take depends on the space your token lands on:
    • Unowned Property: You may buy the property for the price printed on the board. If you choose not to buy it, the Banker immediately auctions it to the highest bidder.
    • Owned Property: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent according to the Title Deed card.
    • Interdimensional Cable TV or Get Schwifty!: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
    • Go: If you pass or land on GO, collect 200 Flurbos from the bank.
    • Just Visiting: If you land on this section of Jail, no action is taken.
    • Go to Jail: Move your token directly to the Jail space. Your turn ends. You do not collect 200 Flurbos for passing GO.
    • Free Parking: No action is taken.
    • Taxes: Pay the specified amount to the bank.
  3. Doubles: If you roll doubles, take your turn as usual, then roll the dice again for another turn. If you roll doubles three times in a row, you immediately go to Jail.
  4. End of Turn: Once you have completed your actions, your turn ends, and play passes to the player on your left.

4.3. Buying and Building

  • Properties: To buy a property, pay the bank the price listed on the board. You receive the Title Deed card.
  • Flooble Cranks and Gooble Boxes: Once you own all properties in a color group, you can buy Flooble Cranks and Gooble Boxes. You must build evenly across the properties in a group. Flooble Cranks are purchased first, then Gooble Boxes (which replace four Flooble Cranks).

4.4. Mortgage and Trading

  • Mortgaging: If you need money, you can mortgage properties. Turn the Title Deed card face down and collect the mortgage value from the bank. No rent can be collected on mortgaged properties. To unmortgage, pay the bank the mortgage value plus 10% interest.
  • Trading: Players can trade properties, Flurbo currency, and Get Out of Jail Free cards with each other at any time.

4.5. Bankruptcy

If you owe more Flurbos than you can pay, you are bankrupt and out of the game. All your properties and assets are turned over to the player you owe, or to the bank if you owe the bank.
