Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice
- Using the provided rice measuring cup, measure the desired amount of uncooked rice. For best results, rinse rice under cool water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice into the inner cooking pot.
- Add water to the inner pot according to the water lines marked inside the pot. For example, if you used 2 cups of uncooked rice, fill water to the line marked "2" for white rice. Refer to the White Rice Chart below for specific measurements and cook times.
- Place the inner pot into the cooker body and cover with the glass lid.
- Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The "WARM" indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the "COOK" switch down. The "COOK" indicator light will illuminate, and cooking will begin.
- Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to "WARM" mode, and the "WARM" indicator light will illuminate.
- For optimal results, allow rice to rest on "WARM" for 5-10 minutes before serving. This allows for further steaming and ensures fluffy rice.
- Using the serving spatula, fluff the rice and serve.
