Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Jetson Bolt.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the bike with a damp cloth after each ride. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components.
  • Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure regularly. Maintain the recommended PSI (usually found on the tire sidewall) for efficient riding and to prevent flats.
  • Brakes: Periodically inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers provide firm and responsive stopping power. Adjust or replace as needed.
  • Fasteners: Check all bolts, nuts, and quick-release levers to ensure they are securely tightened before each ride.
  • Battery Care: Store the bike and battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Professional Service: For complex repairs or adjustments, consult a qualified bike technician.
