Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your TECURS KB510 keyboard.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, use the provided key puller to remove keycaps and clean dust or debris with compressed air. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Liquid Spills: In case of liquid spills, immediately disconnect the keyboard from your device. Turn it upside down to drain any liquid and allow it to air dry completely before reconnecting. Do not use a hairdryer as excessive heat can damage components.
  • Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your keyboard, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Keyboard not responding (Wired): Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • 2.4G Wireless connection issues: Ensure the 2.4G USB receiver is properly inserted and the keyboard is switched to 2.4G mode. Try moving the keyboard closer to the receiver.
  • Bluetooth pairing failure: Ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode (FN+Q/W/E key flashing rapidly). Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it's within range. Remove any previous pairings of the keyboard on your device and try pairing again.
  • style="font-weight:bold;">Backlight not working or dim: Press FN+Ins to ensure the backlight is turned on. Adjust brightness using FN+↑. Check battery level with FN+Spacebar and charge if low.
  • Keys not registering or double-typing: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. If the issue persists, try cleaning under the keycaps.
  • Short battery life: Reduce backlight brightness or turn it off when not needed. Ensure the keyboard enters power-saving mode after 2 minutes of inactivity (in BT/2.4G mode).
