Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the Follow Focus Motor Kit onto your gimbal and camera setup.

1. Attach the Lens Gear Strip: Secure the focus gear strip to your camera lens's focus or zoom ring. Ensure it is snug and properly aligned with the ring's movement.

2. Mount the Fixed Bracket: Attach the fixed bracket to the quick-release plate of your gimbal using the hexagonal screw.
3. Insert the Aluminum Rod: Insert the aluminum guide stick into the fixed bracket. Adjust its position as needed and tighten the thumb screw to secure it. If a lens holder is present and interferes, remove it.
4. Install Lens Holder (Optional): If required for additional support, install the lens holder onto the fixed bracket.
5. Attach the Focus Motor: Mount the follow focus motor onto the aluminum guide stick. Position it so that the motor gear makes firm and proper contact with the lens gear strip. Tighten the thumb screw to secure the motor.
