Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Maksone treadmill.
Cleaning:
- Wipe down the treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
Belt Lubrication:
The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Lubricant is included with the product.
- Turn off and unplug the treadmill.
- Lift the edge of the running belt on one side.
- Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant (included) in a Z-pattern directly onto the deck under the belt.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Plug in the treadmill and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1 KMH) for 2-3 minutes to distribute the lubricant evenly.
- Lubricate every 30 hours of use or every 3 months, whichever comes first.
Belt Adjustment:
If the running belt starts to shift to one side, it may need adjustment.
- If the belt shifts to the left, turn the left rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise by a quarter turn using the provided tool.
- If the belt shifts to the right, turn the right rear roller adjustment bolt clockwise by a quarter turn.
- Run the treadmill for 1-2 minutes at a low speed and check the belt alignment. Repeat adjustments as necessary until the belt is centered.
