Setup

Winding the Watch

Your Gevril Lenox watch is equipped with a Swiss automatic movement. It is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or its power reserve is low, it can be manually wound.

  1. Unscrew the crown (located at the 3 o'clock position) counter-clockwise until it pops out to position 1.
  2. Gently turn the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will initiate the movement and build up a power reserve.
  3. Push the crown back in and screw it clockwise to secure it, ensuring water resistance.

Setting Time, Day, Date, and Month

  1. Setting the Time:
    • Unscrew the crown and pull it out to position 3 (farthest out).
    • Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure to set the correct AM/PM by advancing the time past 12 o'clock to see if the date changes.
    • Once the time is set, push the crown back to position 1 and screw it in.
  2. Setting the Date: (Located at 6 o'clock)
    • Unscrew the crown and pull it out to position 2 (middle position).
    • Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
    • Push the crown back to position 1 and screw it in.
  3. Setting the Day: (Located at 9 o'clock)
    • Use the recessed pusher located on the left side of the watch case (around 8 o'clock position).
    • Press the pusher repeatedly with a small, non-sharp tool (like a toothpick) until the correct day is displayed.
  4. Setting the Month: (Located at 3 o'clock)
    • Use the recessed pusher located on the right side of the watch case (around 2 o'clock position).
    • Press the pusher repeatedly with a small, non-sharp tool until the correct month is displayed.

Important: Avoid setting the date, day, or month between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanisms are engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment can damage the movement.

Operating Your Watch

Wearing the Watch

The Gevril Lenox watch features a genuine Italian leather strap with a deployment clasp for secure and comfortable wear. Adjust the strap to fit snugly but comfortably on your wrist.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This rating means the watch is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed in to maintain water resistance.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the strap gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally.
