Setup and Assembly
The SmooSat E9 scooter comes mostly pre-assembled, requiring minimal setup to get started. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the scooter, charger, owner's manual, quick start guide, warranty card, and the 5mm Allen wrench.
- Handlebar Installation:
Insert the handlebar into the main stem. Use the provided 5mm Allen wrench to tighten the screws on the handlebar clamp securely. Ensure the handlebar is firmly in place and does not wobble.

- Initial Charging:
Before first use, fully charge the scooter's 54 Wh rechargeable battery. Locate the charging port, typically near the rear wheel. Plug in the charger and allow it to charge for approximately 5 hours until the indicator light on the charger turns green.

- Handlebar Height Adjustment:
The handlebar height can be adjusted to three levels: 32.5 in, 35 in, and 37.5 in. To adjust, open the quick-release lever on the stem, pull out the telescope tube to the desired height notch, and then close the quick-release lever firmly to lock it in place. Ensure it is tightened before riding.

Operating Instructions
- Turning On/Off:
Press and hold the power button (red button near the rear wheel) for 2 seconds to turn the scooter on or off. The LED indicators will light up when powered on.

- Speed Modes:
The E9 scooter features two speed modes. Short press the power button to switch between modes:
- Mode 1 (Beginner): Maximum speed of 6 mph. Ideal for new riders.

- Starting the Ride:

- Braking:
The scooter is equipped with a rear fender brake. To slow down or stop, gently press down on the rear fender with your foot. The reinforced rubber anti-skid wheels ensure safe and fast braking.
