5. Setup
5.1. Placement
For optimal audio performance, place the soundbar centrally below your television or monitor. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, ideally within 10 meters of the soundbar, ensuring no obstructions for the wireless signal.

5.2. Connections
Connect the soundbar to your audio source using one of the following methods:
- HDMI ARC: For the best audio quality and control, connect an HDMI cable from the soundbar's H-ARC port to your TV's HDMI ARC port. This allows your TV remote to control the soundbar's volume.
- Optical: Connect an optical cable from the soundbar's OPTICAL port to your TV's optical output.
- AUX IN: Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the soundbar's AUX IN port to the audio output of your device (e.g., smartphone, PC).
- USB/SD Card: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective ports for direct media playback.
- Bluetooth: For wireless connection, refer to the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
5.3. Powering On
Connect the AC adaptor to the soundbar and the power cable to the subwoofer, then plug both into a power outlet. The soundbar and subwoofer will automatically pair wirelessly. The soundbar's LED display will indicate the current mode.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the remote control or the soundbar's top panel.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the remote or the soundbar to adjust the volume.
- Input Selection: Press the MODE button on the remote or soundbar to cycle through input sources (HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, Bluetooth, USB, SD).
- Mute: Press the Mute button on the remote to mute/unmute the sound.
6.2. Sound Modes
The soundbar features preset equalizer modes for optimized listening experiences:
- MUSIC: Optimized for music playback, providing balanced audio.
- MOVIE: Enhances cinematic sound effects and dialogue for movies.
- NEWS: Clarifies vocal frequencies for news and spoken content.

6.3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the soundbar and select Bluetooth mode using the MODE button on the remote or soundbar. The LED display will show "BT".
- Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for "Compaq CQSB200W" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the soundbar will indicate a successful connection, and you can play audio from your device.
6.4. USB/SD Playback
Insert a USB flash drive or SD card containing audio files into the corresponding port. The soundbar will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback. Use the remote control for playback functions (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track).
