  3. Assemble the blade: Place the gasket onto the blade assembly, then screw the blade assembly onto the bottom of the glass blending jar. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.
  4. Place the assembled blending jar onto the motor base. Turn the jar slightly until it locks securely into place.

Operating Your Blender

Your West Bend blender features a simple control dial for easy operation.

  1. After setup and adding ingredients, plug the blender into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
  2. Turn the control dial to select your desired speed:
    • "P" (Pulse): For short bursts of power. Turn the dial to "P" and release to pulse. Useful for chopping or breaking down larger pieces.
    • "1" (Low Speed): For lighter blending tasks, mixing, or pureeing.
    • "2" (High Speed): For heavier blending tasks, crushing ice, or making smoothies.
  3. Blend until desired consistency is achieved. Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the motor to rest for 10 minutes between cycles.
  4. To stop blending, turn the dial to the "0" (Off) position.
  5. Unplug the blender from the outlet before removing the blending jar.
