Setup Instructions
Before first use, wash all parts except the motor base in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The glass jar and lid are dishwasher safe.
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Ensure the blender is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Assemble the blade: Place the gasket onto the blade assembly, then screw the blade assembly onto the bottom of the glass blending jar. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.
- Place the assembled blending jar onto the motor base. Turn the jar slightly until it locks securely into place.
- Add your ingredients to the blending jar. Do not overfill past the maximum fill line.
- Securely place the cover onto the blending jar. Ensure the filler cap is also in place.

Operating Your Blender
Your West Bend blender features a simple control dial for easy operation.
- After setup and adding ingredients, plug the blender into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Turn the control dial to select your desired speed:
- "P" (Pulse): For short bursts of power. Turn the dial to "P" and release to pulse. Useful for chopping or breaking down larger pieces.
- "1" (Low Speed): For lighter blending tasks, mixing, or pureeing.
- "2" (High Speed): For heavier blending tasks, crushing ice, or making smoothies.
- Blend until desired consistency is achieved. Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the motor to rest for 10 minutes between cycles.
- To stop blending, turn the dial to the "0" (Off) position.
- Unplug the blender from the outlet before removing the blending jar.
