Safety Information
Always read and understand all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use personal protective equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection for appropriate conditions.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
- Safety Switch: The grinder is equipped with a safety switch that cuts off power if excessive pressure is applied to the workpiece. This prevents damage to the tool and potential overheating. Do not attempt to bypass or disable this safety feature.
- Disc Compatibility: Only use grinding and cutting discs with a diameter of 125 mm or 115 mm that are rated for the grinder's maximum RPM.

Operating Instructions
- Starting the Grinder:
With the battery inserted and disc securely mounted, hold the grinder firmly with both hands. Press the power switch to start the tool. Allow the disc to reach full speed before making contact with the workpiece.
- Grinding and Cutting:
Apply light, consistent pressure. Do not force the tool. The integrated safety switch will activate and cut power if excessive pressure is detected, protecting the tool from overload and overheating. If this occurs, reduce pressure and restart the tool.
- Stopping the Grinder:
Release the power switch to stop the tool. Wait for the disc to come to a complete stop before setting the grinder down or performing any adjustments.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the ventilation openings of the grinder to prevent dust accumulation, which can lead to overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
- Disc Inspection: Before each use, inspect the grinding or cutting disc for cracks, chips, or excessive wear. Replace damaged discs immediately.
- Storage: Store the grinder in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children. Remove the battery when storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging and storing the battery pack. Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures or moisture.
