5. Setup Instructions
5.1. Battery Installation
- Gently open the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm device.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. App Installation and Device Pairing
- Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS).
- Register or log in to your account within the app.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. The alarm does not support 5G WiFi.
- On the alarm device, long-press the Network button (refer to Image 4.1 for location) until the status light blinks rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- In the app, tap '+' to add a new device. Select 'Security & Sensor' > 'Vibration Sensor' or 'Door/Window Sensor (Wi-Fi)'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to connect the alarm to your WiFi network.
- Once successfully paired, the status light on the alarm will stop blinking and remain solid.
5.3. Mounting the Alarm
- Clean the surface where you intend to mount the alarm (door, window frame, glass) to ensure it is free of dust and grease.
- Peel off the protective film from one side of the 3M adhesive pad and attach it to the back of the alarm device.
- Peel off the protective film from the other side of the 3M adhesive pad.
- Firmly press the alarm device onto the desired clean surface for at least 30 seconds. Ensure it is securely attached.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
Use the physical Power switch (ON/OFF) located on the side of the device to turn the alarm on or off. When the switch is in the 'ON' position, the alarm is active and ready to detect vibrations.
6.2. Adjusting Sensitivity
The alarm's sensitivity can be adjusted using the Sensitivity adjusting switch (refer to Image 4.1 for location). Slide the switch to increase or decrease the sensitivity to vibrations. Higher sensitivity will trigger the alarm with lighter impacts, while lower sensitivity requires stronger impacts.
6.3. Receiving Alerts
When the alarm detects a vibration, it will sound a 130dB siren locally and send an instant notification to your paired Tuya/Smart Life app on your smartphone. Ensure your phone has notifications enabled for the app.
6.4. Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home)
To enable voice control, link your Tuya Smart or Smart Life account with your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app. Once linked, you can use voice commands to check the status of your alarm or integrate it into smart home routines.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Battery Replacement
The alarm device will indicate a low battery condition by flashing its LED status light and sending a notification to your app. To replace the batteries:
- Turn off the alarm using the Power switch.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover and turn the alarm back on.
7.2. Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
