Setup Guide

1. Charging the Vehicle Battery

  1. Connect the Li-ion 7.4V 1200mAh battery to the supplied USB charger.
  2. Plug the USB charger into a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator on the USB charger will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications.
  4. Charging time is approximately 40-60 minutes. Do not overcharge the battery.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

2. Installing the Vehicle Battery

  1. Carefully remove the body shell of the RC car. This usually involves detaching body clips.
  2. Locate the battery compartment.
  3. Insert the charged Li-ion battery into the compartment and securely connect it to the vehicle's power connector (BEC plug).
  4. Ensure all wires are tucked away safely and do not interfere with moving parts.
  5. Reattach the body shell.

3. Installing Remote Control Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the 2.4 GHz remote control.
  2. Insert 4x 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Binding the Remote Control and Vehicle

The vehicle and remote control are typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary:

  1. Ensure both the vehicle and remote control are powered off.
  2. Turn on the remote control.
  3. Turn on the vehicle. The indicator lights on both devices should show a successful connection. Refer to the specific instructions for your ESC/receiver for detailed binding procedures if automatic binding fails.

Driving Your RC Car

  1. Power On: Turn on the remote control first, then the vehicle.
  2. Starting: Gently pull the throttle trigger to move forward. Practice smooth acceleration and braking.
  3. Steering: Turn the steering wheel to guide the car. The integrated gyro system provides additional stabilization for precise handling, especially during drifts.
  4. Drifting: The car is designed for drifting. Experiment with throttle and steering inputs to initiate and maintain drifts. The adjustable gyro sensitivity can assist in controlling drifts.
  5. Top Speed: The car can reach speeds of 40-45 km/h. Always be aware of your surroundings.
  6. Driving Time: Expect approximately 10-13 minutes of driving time on a full charge.
  7. Power Off: Always turn off the vehicle first, then the remote control, after use. Disconnect the battery from the vehicle.

Changing Tires

Your Amewi Sport Car Breaker Pro comes with mounted drift tires and additional road tires. To change them:

  1. Use the provided tools to carefully remove the wheel nuts from each wheel.
  2. Remove the drift tires and replace them with the road tires.
  3. Securely fasten the wheel nuts. Do not overtighten.
  4. Changing tires allows you to adapt the car's performance for different surfaces and driving styles (drifting vs. on-road racing).
