Familiarize yourself with the components of your occiam T17 Wireless Earbuds:

Earbuds

  • Ear Hook: Adjustable and secure-fit silicone ear hooks for stability during activities.

  • Earbud Charging Indicators: LED bars flash when earbuds are charging and turn off when fully charged.

Setup

Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case.

  • Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure the charging contacts align.
  • Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging case and a power source.
  • The LED power display on the case will show the battery percentage.
  • While earbuds are charging, their respective LED bars on the case will flash. Once fully charged, the LED bars will turn off.
  • A full charge for the earbuds takes approximately 1.5 hours. The charging case takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

Initial Pairing

Follow these steps to pair your occiam T17 earbuds with your device for the first time:

  1. Ensure your mobile phone's Bluetooth list is clear of previous connections and Bluetooth is turned OFF.
  2. Take both earbuds out of the charging case. They will automatically power on and attempt to pair with each other.
  3. Once successfully paired with each other, the LED indicator of one earbud will flash blue slowly, and the LED indicator of the other earbud will flash red and blue alternatively.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
  5. Search for "T17" in the list of available devices and select it to connect.
  6. Once connected, the earbud indicators will turn off.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: The earbuds will automatically power on when removed from the charging case.
  • Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case to automatically power them off and begin charging.

Automatic Reconnection

After the initial successful connection, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device upon reboot, provided Bluetooth is enabled on the device and the earbuds are within range.

Single Earbud Mode

You can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply remove one earbud from the case, and it will connect to your device. To switch to twin mode, remove the second earbud, and they will seamlessly connect to each other.

Controls

The occiam T17 earbuds feature physical buttons for precise control:

Play/Pause Music Click once on either earbud's button.
Answer/Hang Up Call Click once on either earbud's button.
Reject Call Hold (2 seconds) on either earbud's button.
Previous Song Double-click the LEFT earbud's button.
Next Song Double-click the RIGHT earbud's button.
Activate Voice Assistant Triple-click on either earbud's button.
Volume Up Press the "+" button on the earbud.
Volume Down Press the "-" button on the earbud.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your occiam T17 Wireless Earbuds, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, especially the eartips and charging contacts, with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. If necessary, use an alcohol rag to clean the magnet connectors on the earbuds and charging case to prevent poor connections.
  • Storage: When not in use, always store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust, dirt, and physical damage.
  • Charging Case Care: Charge the charging case at least once a week to prevent over-discharge. If the case is severely depleted, the LED display may not show immediately when plugged in; wait about 15 minutes for it to appear.
  • Water Resistance: The earbuds have an IPX5 waterproof rating, protecting them from sweat and light splashes. Do not submerge them in water or expose them to heavy rain.
  • Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the earbuds or charging case to extreme hot or cold temperatures, as this can damage the battery and internal components.

  • Only one earbud plays sound:
