4.1 AcuSense Technology

5. Setup

5.1 Physical Installation

1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location for mounting. The camera is designed for wall mounting.
2. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Use the provided drill template to mark the screw holes on the wall or ceiling.
3. Drill Holes: Drill holes according to the template. For masonry, insert the wall plugs.
4. Route Cables: If routing cables through the mounting surface, drill an additional hole for cable passage.
5. Secure the Camera: Attach the camera base to the mounting surface using the provided screws.
6. Adjust Angle: Loosen the adjustment screws to set the desired viewing angle, then tighten them to secure the camera.

5.2 Network Connection

1. PoE Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE-enabled switch or NVR to the camera's network port. The camera will power on automatically.
2. Non-PoE Connection (Optional): If not using PoE, connect a 12V DC power adapter (not included) to the camera's power input and an Ethernet cable to a standard network switch.
