Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Printmaker device using the included charging cord. The charging port is located at the bottom of the device when it's in its home base. Ensure the device is fully charged for optimal performance.

2. Installing the Ink Cartridge

  1. Carefully remove the Printmaker from its home base by unscrewing it. Always keep the device on its base when not in use to maintain ink quality.
  2. Locate the ink cartridge slot on the underside of the Printmaker.
  3. Insert the ink cartridge firmly into the slot until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the cartridge cover securely.

Within the Printmaker app, you can either create your own custom designs or select from a variety of pre-designed collections. Once your design is ready, select "Send to Printer" in the app. The app will indicate when the design has been successfully sent to your Printmaker device.

Maintenance

To ensure consistent print quality, regularly clean the print head. The app will notify you when cleaning is recommended. Use the provided wipe handle and wipes to gently clean the print head, removing any dried ink or debris.

Troubleshooting

  • App Connectivity Issues: If the Printmaker fails to connect to the app, try turning the device off and on again. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  • Inconsistent Print Colors (e.g., only magenta): This may indicate a faulty ink cartridge. Contact customer service for a replacement cartridge.
