Welcome to the SOAIY Star Projector user manual. This device combines a galaxy projector, white noise machine, and Bluetooth speaker to create a relaxing and immersive atmosphere. It features multiple control options including remote, app, and voice control for ease of use.

4. Product Overview

The SOAIY Star Projector is a versatile device designed to enhance your environment with stunning visual and auditory experiences. Below are the key components and features:

The projector features an upgraded lamp and projection lens for brighter aurora and clearer star/moon patterns. It offers 10 colors and 360° rotational dynamic projections.

It includes a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 speaker for playing your favorite music with high-definition stereo sound and enhanced bass. Additionally, it has 8 soothing white noise sounds to aid relaxation and sleep.

The device can be controlled via the included remote, a dedicated mobile application, or voice commands through Alexa.

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the USB power cable to the DC:5V input port on the projector.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible 5V/2A power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet.
3. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the power button.

5.2 Initial Setup

Upon first power-on, the projector may enter a default lighting mode. You can begin controlling it immediately with the on-device buttons or the remote control.

For advanced features like Wi-Fi app control and voice control, further setup is required (refer to sections 6.3 and 6.4).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation (On-Device Buttons)

The projector has several buttons on its body for direct control:

• Power Button: Turns the device on/off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through different lighting modes.
• Volume +/-: Adjusts the volume of the speaker.
• BT/WN Button: Toggles between Bluetooth mode and White Noise mode.

6.2 Remote Control Operation

The included remote control provides comprehensive control over all functions:

• Power (Red Button): Turns the projector on or off.
• LED Control: Buttons for Red (R), Green (G), Blue (B), White (W) light colors.
• Brightness Adjustment: Increase (+) or Decrease (-) LED brightness.
• Fade Modes: FADE 1 and FADE 2 for dynamic color transitions.
• Music Playback: Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Volume Up/Down.
• Timer Settings: 1H (1 hour), 2H (2 hours), or Timer Off.
• BT/WN: Toggles between Bluetooth and White Noise modes.

6.3 Smart App Control

For full customization and smart features, download the dedicated mobile application. (Only works with 2.4G Wi-Fi).

1. Download the Smart App (e.g., Smart Life app) from your device's app store.
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Add Device: Select "Lighting" then "Light Source (Wi-Fi)".
4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the projector to your 2.4G Wi-Fi network. Ensure the projector is in pairing mode (usually indicated by a blinking light).
5. Once connected, you can control all features, including color, brightness, rotation speed, and timer settings, directly from the app.

6.4 Voice Control (Alexa Compatible)

After connecting the projector to the Smart App, you can link it to voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Home for hands-free control.

1. Open your Alexa or Google Home app.
2. Enable the Smart App skill (e.g., "Smart Life").
3. Discover devices.
4. You can now use voice commands such as:
   • "Alexa, turn on the Star Projector."
   • "Hey Google, set Star Projector to blue."
   • "Alexa, turn off the stars."

6.5 Lighting Effects

The projector offers 10 distinct lighting effects with 360° rotational dynamic projections. You can adjust colors, brightness, and rotation speed to create your desired ambiance.

The removable cover allows the device to function as either a full star projector or a soft night light.

6.6 White Noise Sounds

The projector includes 8 built-in soothing white noise sounds to help with relaxation and sleep. These include:

• Summer Night
• Thunder
• White Noise
• Ocean Wave
• Brook
• 3 Lullabies

Use the BT/WN button on the device or remote to switch to white noise mode and cycle through the sounds.

6.7 Bluetooth Speaker Function

Connect your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device to the projector to play your favorite audio. The lighting can also be set to change with the music rhythm in "Music Interactive Mode" via the app.

1. Press the BT/WN button until the device announces "Bluetooth Mode".
2. On your mobile device, search for "SOAIY" in the Bluetooth settings and pair.
3. Once connected, you can play audio through the projector's speaker.

6.8 Timer Settings

The projector features an auto-timer function, allowing you to set it to turn off automatically after a specified period.

• Use the 1H or 2H buttons on the remote control to set the timer.
• Select "Timer Off" to disable the auto-shutdown.

• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the projection lens clear of dust and fingerprints for optimal projection quality.
• Store the projector in a cool, dry place when not in use.
