1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Voltage Matching: Always ensure the input voltage selected on the transformer matches the local power supply voltage. Incorrect voltage selection can damage the transformer and connected appliances.
  • Appliance Compatibility: Verify that the rated power consumption (W) of your appliance is within the transformer's rated output (VA/W).
  • High-Load Devices: For appliances with high starting loads or those requiring significant instantaneous power (e.g., motors, compressors), select a transformer with a capacity 1.5 to 2 times the appliance's actual power consumption.
  • Prolonged Use: For continuous operation, use the transformer at no more than 80% of its rated capacity to prevent overheating and ensure longevity.
  • Voltage Band Limitation: This transformer is designed for converting between 100V-110V and 220V-240V ranges. It cannot convert voltage within the same band (e.g., 100V to 110V).
  • 200V AC Warning: This product is not intended for use with AC 200V input or to supply AC 200V power if it falls outside the specified AC 100V-110V & AC 220V-240V range.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the transformer during operation. Do not cover the ventilation openings.

3.2 Connecting the Transformer

  1. Plug the transformer's power cord into a wall outlet.
  2. Flip the Power Switch on the front panel to the "ON" position. The Power Lamp should illuminate, indicating the transformer is receiving power.

3.3 Connecting Your Appliance

  1. Identify the voltage required by your appliance.
  2. Plug your appliance into the corresponding output socket on the transformer:
    • For 100V-110V appliances, use the 100V-110V Output Socket.
    • For 220V-230V appliances, use one of the 220V-230V Output Sockets.

WARNING: Ensure your appliance's plug type is compatible with the transformer's output sockets. If not, use an appropriate plug adapter (not included).
