Setup

Follow these steps to set up your projector for the first time.

  1. Placement: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. For optimal viewing, position the projector between 4.5 feet and 16.5 feet from the projection surface to achieve a screen size up to 150 inches.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the AC/DC power adapter to the 'DC IN 20V' port on the rear of the projector, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Input Source Connection:
    • HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, laptop) to either 'HDMI 1' or 'HDMI 2' port on the projector.
    • USB: Insert a USB drive into 'USB 1' or 'USB 2' for media playback.
    • VGA: Connect a VGA cable from your computer to the 'VGA PC Input' port.
    • Micro SD: Insert a Micro SD card into the 'MicroSD' slot for media playback.
    • AV: Use the included 3.5mm to RCA audio/video adapter to connect older AV devices to the 'AUDIO AV OUT' port.
  4. Audio Output (Optional): If you wish to use external speakers, connect them to the 'AUDIO AV OUT' port using a 3.5mm audio cable. The projector also has built-in full-range speakers.

Operating

Learn how to operate your projector for an optimal viewing experience.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.
  2. Input Source Selection: After powering on, use the 'Source' button on the projector or remote to cycle through available input sources (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, USB, VGA, Micro SD, AV). Select the input corresponding to your connected device.
  3. Focus Adjustment: Rotate the focus ring located around the lens until the projected image appears clear and sharp.
  4. Keystone Correction: If the projected image appears trapezoidal (wider at the top or bottom), use the keystone correction dial (if available, typically near the lens) to adjust the image geometry until it is rectangular.
  5. Menu Navigation: Use the navigation buttons (up, down, left, right, OK) on the projector or remote control to access and navigate the on-screen display (OSD) menu. Here you can adjust settings such as picture mode, aspect ratio (16:9, 4:3), sound, and more.
  6. Volume Control: Use the volume buttons on the remote control to adjust the audio output level.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your projector.

  • Lens Cleaning: Gently wipe the projector lens with the included cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Regularly check and clean the ventilation grilles to prevent dust buildup, which can impede airflow and cause overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
  • Storage: When not in use, cover the lens with the lens cover and store the projector in the included storage bag in a cool, dry place.
  • LED Bulb Life: The projector features an LED bulb with an estimated life of 20,000 hours, requiring no regular replacement under normal use.
