Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your ironing station.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Soak Filter: Before first use, ensure the anti-scale cartridge filter is properly soaked for at least 5 minutes. This is crucial for steam production and unit longevity.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Remove the 1 L water tank from the base. Fill it with distilled water up to the 'max' line. Using distilled water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup. Reinsert the tank securely into the base.
  4. Place Iron: Place the iron securely on its base, ensuring the iron lock is engaged if moving the unit.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 120V AC electrical outlet.

Troubleshooting

Refer to this section for solutions to common issues you might encounter.

Q: Why is my Maven not producing steam?
A: Ensure the anti-scale cartridge filter was properly soaked before first use. If it's not the first use, check if the water tank is empty or if the filter needs replacement.
Q: My Maven is making a chugging noise?
A: The Maven uses pump technology to deliver steam, and a small noise during operation is normal. If the noise increases, it may indicate that the unit is low on water or the filter is not adequately soaked.
Q: Does the Maven have an auto-off feature?
A: Yes, the Maven Iron Station is equipped with a 10-minute auto-off. To re-engage the iron, you can move the iron or press any button.
Q: Can this iron produce steam without manually holding the button?
