Setup

1. Installing Batteries in the Main Unit

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main display unit.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Charging the Remote Sensor

The remote sensor contains a rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, fully charge the sensor.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the remote sensor.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

3. Pairing the Main Unit and Remote Sensor

The main unit and remote sensor should automatically pair once both are powered on. If pairing does not occur:

4. Placement Guidelines

  • Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or vents that could affect readings. It can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated stand, mounted on a wall using the hanging hole, or attached to a metal surface via its magnetic back.
  • Remote Sensor: Place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight. Ensure it is within the 200-foot wireless range of the main unit. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that could interfere with the wireless signal.

  • OUT CH1: Displays outdoor temperature and humidity from the connected sensor.
  • IN: Displays indoor temperature and humidity measured by the main unit.
  • CH SYNC: Used to switch between multiple outdoor channels (if additional sensors are connected) or to re-sync sensors.
  • Light Bulb Icon: Activates the backlight for easy viewing in dim conditions.
  • °F/°C HISTORY: Toggles between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature units. Press and hold to view historical MAX/MIN records.
  • MAX/MIN CLEAR: Displays the maximum and minimum temperature/humidity records. Press and hold to clear the records.

Switching Temperature Units (°F/°C)

To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), simply touch the '°F/°C HISTORY' button on the touchscreen display. The unit will instantly change.

Viewing and Clearing MAX/MIN Records

The device tracks the highest (MAX) and lowest (MIN) temperature and humidity readings for both indoor and outdoor environments.

  • To view MAX records: Touch the 'MAX/MIN CLEAR' button once.
  • To view MIN records: Touch the 'MAX/MIN CLEAR' button a second time.
  • To clear all MAX/MIN records: Press and hold the 'MAX/MIN CLEAR' button for 3 seconds. The records will reset to the current readings.

Backlight Function

To activate the backlight for improved visibility in dark environments, simply touch the 'Light Bulb Icon' button. The backlight will remain on for a few seconds before automatically turning off to conserve battery.

Trend Indicators

The display includes trend arrows that indicate whether the temperature and humidity are rising, falling, or remaining stable. This helps you anticipate changes in your environment.

When the battery indicator on the main unit shows low power, replace the 2 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity.

Recharging the Remote Sensor

When the low battery indicator for the outdoor sensor appears on the main unit, recharge the remote sensor using the provided USB cable. A full charge ensures continuous operation.
