1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Charging and Installation

1. Charging the Battery: Connect the battery charger to a standard power outlet. Insert the 20V Lithium-ion battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
2. Installing the Battery: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill driver handle. Slide the battery pack into the handle until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.2 Attaching Drill Bits and Accessories

1. Opening the Chuck: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are open wide enough to insert the desired drill bit or accessory.
2. Inserting the Bit: Insert the shank of the drill bit or accessory into the chuck as far as it will go.
3. Tightening the Chuck: Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure to prevent slippage during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Cordless Drill Driver Operation

• Powering On/Off: Squeeze the variable-speed trigger switch to turn the drill on. Release the trigger to turn it off.
• Variable Speed Control: The drill features a variable-speed trigger. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed.
• Forward/Reverse Rotation: Use the forward/reverse rotation control switch, located above the trigger, to select the desired direction of rotation. Push left for forward (clockwise) and right for reverse (counter-clockwise). Center position locks the trigger.
• Torque Settings (19-Position Clutch): The torque setting ring allows you to adjust the amount of torque applied. Rotate the ring to select from 1 to 18 for driving screws, or the drill symbol for heavy drilling. Lower settings are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher settings for larger screws or harder materials.

• 2-Speed Transmission: The gear selector switch, located on top of the drill, allows you to choose between two speed ranges:
  • Gear 1 (Low Speed, 0-400 RPM): Ideal for driving screws and applications requiring higher torque.
  • Gear 2 (High Speed, 0-1500 RPM): Suitable for drilling and applications requiring faster rotation.
