Setup and Assembly
Assembly is designed to be straightforward. All parts are labeled, and visual instructions are provided in the included manual. For assistance, refer to the official assembly video or contact customer support.
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Match each part to the corresponding label in the instruction diagram.
- Attach Headboard and Footboard to Side Rails: Connect the headboard and footboard to the side rails using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten bolts until the frame is fully assembled.
- Install Center Support Legs: Attach the center support legs to the designated points on the bed frame. These legs provide additional stability.
- Insert Metal Slats: Place the 12 metal slats into the designated slots on the side rails. The slats are designed with an embedded system to prevent mattress sliding. Apply the provided EVA sponge to the slats to reduce friction and noise.
- Attach Anti-Slip Foot Pads: Secure the plastic foot plugs (anti-slip foot pads) to the bottom of all bed frame legs to prevent sliding and protect your floor.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and securely tighten all bolts and screws.

Usage Guidelines
To ensure the longevity and safety of your HOOMIC King Size Platform Bed Frame, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Mattress Compatibility: This platform bed frame does not require a box spring. It is designed to support a mattress directly. A recommended mattress thickness is 10-14 inches for optimal headboard visibility and comfort.
- Weight Capacity: The bed frame has a maximum weight capacity of 800 lbs. Distribute weight evenly across the frame.
- Under-Bed Storage: Utilize the 12 inches of under-bed clearance for storage. Ensure items stored do not obstruct the frame's stability or airflow.
- Noise Reduction: The integrated EVA sponge and plastic foot plugs are designed to minimize noise. Avoid excessive movement that could dislodge these components.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your bed frame:
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal and wooden surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Fastener Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts and screws. Retighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Slats Inspection: Ensure all metal slats are properly seated in their grooves and the EVA sponge is intact. If a slat becomes dislodged, reposition it immediately.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Squeaking Noises | Loose fasteners, displaced slats, worn EVA sponge. |
|
| Bed Frame Feels Unstable/Wobbly | Loose connections, uneven floor, missing support legs. |
|
| Mattress Sliding | Slats not properly seated, lack of friction. |
