  • Press the power button to turn on the vacuum.
  • Carefully vacuum liquid spills. The 9-gallon tank capacity allows for extended wet pickup sessions.

  • When finished, press the power button to turn off and unplug the unit.

Blower Function:

  • Ensure the tank is empty and clean.
  • Disconnect the hose from the intake port.
  • Locate the blower port on the motor head (typically opposite the intake port).
  • Insert the hose securely into the blower port.
  • Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
  • Press the power button to activate the blower. This function is useful for clearing debris from paths, inflating items, or drying surfaces.
  • When finished, press the power button to turn off and unplug the unit.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Koblenz WD-9 L212 vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Tank:

  • Always unplug the vacuum before emptying.
  • Release the latches on the sides of the tank and lift off the motor head.
  • Carefully pour out the collected dry debris or liquid waste.
  • Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before reassembly.

Filter Care:

  • Cartridge Filter: For dry use, regularly check the cartridge filter for dust and debris buildup. Tap it gently to dislodge dust or rinse it with water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling for dry vacuuming. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively clogged.
  • Note: The cartridge filter must be removed for wet vacuuming.

Hose and Accessory Cleaning:

  • Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage after each use.
  • Clear any obstructions to maintain optimal airflow.
  • Wash accessories with water and mild soap, then rinse and air dry.
