Setup

Mounting the Sight

The UUQ HD1079 Pro Reflex Sight includes an integrated mount for standard 20mm Picatinny or Weaver rails. A low profile mounting adapter is also included for pistols. Ensure the mount is securely fastened to prevent loosening during use. Refer to the adapter manufacturer's instructions if using a third-party adapter plate.

Battery Installation

The sight uses one 3V CR2032 Lithium Battery. To install or replace the battery, locate the battery compartment, typically on the top or side of the sight. Ensure correct polarity. The design allows for battery replacement without removing the optic, preserving your zero.

Important Installation Tips

  1. Before purchasing, please confirm your pistol slide cut. If you are not sure, please consult with the manufacturer. An incorrect slide cut cannot be installed. (This product is an RMR footprint, please double check your pistol slide cut before purchasing).
  2. If the installation requires the use of another adapter plate, please follow the adapter manufacturer's installation instructions.
  3. The use of blue thread locker and reasonable inch-pound torque specifications are necessary to ensure that the red dot will hold zero in subsequent use. Too much or too little torque will result in the red dot not holding zero.
  4. This product has undergone an 800G recoil test, but if your gun has excessive recoil, the glass may come off.
  5. If the red dot does not light up, please reinstall the battery.

Maintenance

To maintain the performance and longevity of your red dot sight, regularly clean the lenses with the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure all mounting screws remain tight. Store the sight in its protective case when not in use.

This video demonstrates the IPX6 waterproof rating of the red dot sight, showing it submerged in water. While waterproof, it is advised not to submerge it for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

  • Red Dot Not Lighting Up: Reinstall the battery, ensuring correct polarity. Check if the battery needs replacement.
  • Loss of Zero: Ensure all mounting screws are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Excessive recoil from certain firearms may affect zero retention or cause the glass to dislodge.
  • Blurred or Distorted Dot: Adjust the brightness settings. A dot that appears blurry or distorted at higher brightness levels may indicate an issue with the optic or individual eyesight. Try lower settings.
  • Glass Falling Out: While the product is tested for 800G shock resistance, extreme or excessive recoil may cause the glass to come off. Contact customer support if this occurs.
