Setup

  3. Place Filter Paper: Insert a standard size 2 paper coffee filter into the ceramic filter. Ensure it sits snugly against the sides.
  4. Pre-wet Filter Paper (Optional but Recommended): Place the ceramic filter with the paper filter over your mug or carafe. Pour a small amount of hot water over the paper filter to rinse it and pre-heat the ceramic filter. Discard this water before proceeding.
  5. Add Coffee Grounds: Add your desired amount of medium-fine ground coffee into the pre-wet filter paper. For best results, use fresh coffee beans ground just before brewing.

Operating Instructions (Brewing Coffee)

Follow these steps for an optimal pour-over coffee experience:

  1. Heat Water: Heat fresh water to approximately 90-96°C (195-205°F). Do not use boiling water directly.
