- Attach the Backrest to the Seat: Locate the backrest and the drum seat. The screw for fixing the backrest is typically taped to the inside of the box or the leg of the drum throne. Align the backrest attachment with the designated holes on the underside of the drum seat. Secure the backrest using the provided screws. Note: The backrest is designed with two adjustment holes; only one bolt needs to be tightened for initial setup. The extra hole is for adjustment options.

The backrest can be adjusted for optimal ergonomic support. Loosen the screws that secure the backrest to the seat, adjust the backrest to your preferred position (up/down or forward/backward), and then tighten the screws firmly to secure it.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper function of your drum throne, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the seat and backrest with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the leather finish.
- Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws and knobs, especially those on the base and backrest, to maintain stability.
- Storage: Store the drum throne in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your drum throne, consider the following common solutions:
- Wobbling or Instability: Ensure all leg braces are fully extended and the locking screws on the base are securely tightened. Check the connection between the seat and the base, ensuring the post is fully inserted and any locking mechanisms are engaged.
- Backrest Movement: If the backrest feels loose, verify that the screws attaching it to the seat are tightened. The backrest has adjustment holes; ensure one bolt is firmly tightened.
- Height Adjustment Issues: If the height adjustment mechanism is stiff or not functioning smoothly, ensure the adjuster lever is fully engaged or disengaged as needed. Check for any obstructions around the air cylinder.
