1. Introduction

This smart ceiling light offers versatile illumination with adjustable color temperature, RGB color options, dimming capabilities, and convenient control via the Tuya app, Wi-Fi, or the included remote control. Please read this manual carefully before installation and use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Safety Instructions

• Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installation, maintenance, or cleaning.
• Voltage: Ensure the supply voltage (230 Volts) matches the requirements of the fixture.
• Indoor Use Only: This product is designed for indoor use in dry environments. Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Handling: Handle the light fixture with care. Do not drop or subject it to strong impacts.
• Integrated LED: The LED light source is integrated and not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to disassemble the LED module.

4. Setup and Installation

Note: Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.

1. Prepare the Installation Area: Choose a suitable location on the ceiling. Ensure the ceiling surface is clean, dry, and capable of supporting the light's weight (1.47 kg).
2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the mounting bracket (part of the light fixture) against the ceiling at the desired installation point. Mark the positions for drilling holes.
3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions. Insert the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.
4. Connect Wiring: Connect the household electrical wires to the terminal block on the light fixture. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth). Secure all connections.
5. Mount the Fixture: Align the light fixture with the drilled holes and secure it to the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is firmly attached.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

4.1. Connecting to Tuya App / Wi-Fi

For smart control features, download the Tuya Smart app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add the BRILLIANT Tessy LED Ceiling Light. This typically involves:

1. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz.
2. Power on the light fixture.
3. Open the Tuya Smart app and select 'Add Device'.
4. Follow the pairing instructions, which may involve cycling the power to the light to put it into pairing mode (e.g., turn off-on-off-on-off-on until it flashes).
5. Once paired, you can control the light via the app.

5. Operating Instructions

The BRILLIANT Tessy LED Ceiling Light can be controlled using the included remote control or the Tuya Smart app.

5.1. Remote Control Functions

Insert the provided batteries into the remote control. The remote allows for basic and advanced control of the light.

• Power On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button.
• Brightness Adjustment (Dimming): Use the Brightness Up and Brightness Down buttons to adjust the light intensity continuously.
• Color Temperature Adjustment (CCT): Use the CCT Warm and CCT Cool buttons to change the light color from warm white (3000K) to cool white (6500K).

• RGB Color Change: Press the RGB button to cycle through various static RGB colors or activate dynamic color modes.

• Night Light Function: Activate a low-brightness, warm light setting suitable for night use.
• Pre-set Modes: The remote may include buttons for pre-set lighting scenes (e.g., 'Flash', 'Smooth').

5.2. Tuya App Control

Once connected to the Tuya Smart app, you can access all functions of the light, including:

• Precise brightness and color temperature control.
• Full RGB color palette selection.
• Scheduling and timers.

• Voice control via compatible smart assistants (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant).

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the light fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Inspection: Periodically check the fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
• LED Lifespan: The integrated LED has a long lifespan and does not require replacement under normal operating conditions.
