4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for easy and straightforward installation:
- Step 1: Unplug the Router
Unplug your Wi-Fi router's power adapter from the AC mains power outlet. - Step 2: Connect to UPS
Connect the router's power adapter pin into the white input jack of the router UPS. - Step 3: Complete the Setup
Use the provided output cable to connect the router to the UPS. Ensure the ON-OFF switch of the router UPS is turned ON at all times to guarantee uninterrupted power supply during power drops.
Important Note I:
Ensure that the battery of the Envibe router UPS is charged to full capacity before first use. This may take several hours.
Important Note II:
Broadband connections with separate modem and router require either two router UPS units or a splitter (which must be purchased separately according to operational compatibility).

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the V-Guard Envibe 12V Router UPS operates automatically. It provides seamless power backup with zero change-over time when the main power supply is interrupted.
- Charging Mode: When connected to AC mains and charging, the LED indicator will display a green light.
- Backup Mode: During a power cut, the UPS will automatically switch to battery power, and the LED indicator will display a white light.
The UPS provides approximately 4-5 hours of uninterrupted power, depending on the power consumption of the connected Wi-Fi router or device.

- For optimal battery health, avoid prolonged storage without charging. If storing for an extended period, charge the unit fully every 3-6 months.
8. Troubleshooting

- No Power Output:
Ensure the UPS is fully charged. Verify that the ON-OFF switch on the UPS is in the 'ON' position. Check all cable connections between the router, UPS, and power adapter. - Short Backup Time:
The backup time depends on the power consumption of the connected device. Ensure your device is 12V and does not exceed 2A. If the battery is old, its capacity may have diminished. - Router Not Turning On:
Confirm that the router's voltage and current requirements match the UPS specifications (12V, max 2A). Ensure the correct connectors are used and securely attached. - UPS Not Charging:
Check if the power adapter is correctly plugged into a working AC outlet and the UPS input. Ensure the adapter is the original one or a compatible 12V adapter.
