Setup

Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Pilo 2 Fabric Shaver. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device and then to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status. The device can be used while charging.

Operating Instructions

Preparing the Fabric

• Lay the garment or textile flat on a hard, even surface.
• Gently stretch the fabric to ensure it is smooth and taut, especially for delicate items.

Using the Fabric Shaver

• Press the power button on top of the device to turn it on.
• Gently sweep the shaving head over the affected areas of the fabric. Use light, even pressure.
• Avoid pressing too hard or holding the shaver in one spot for too long, as this may damage the fabric.
• For best results, move the shaver in small, circular motions or straight strokes.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Lint Container and Blades

For optimal performance, regularly clean the lint container and blades. If the machine starts to run slower, it is likely due to accumulated fuzz.

1. Ensure the device is turned off.
2. Gently twist the top part of the shaver counter-clockwise to remove the shaving head and lint container.
3. Empty the accumulated lint from the container.
4. Use the provided cleaning brush to carefully remove any lint or debris from the blades and the inside of the shaving head.
5. Reattach the shaving head by aligning it and twisting clockwise until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the battery is low, connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• Poor performance/not removing lint: The lint container may be full, or the blades might be clogged. Turn off the device, remove the shaving head, empty the container, and clean the blades with the brush.
• Device stops unexpectedly: This could indicate a full lint container or low battery. Follow the cleaning and charging instructions.
• Fabric damage: Ensure you are not pressing too hard or holding the shaver in one spot. Always lay the fabric flat and taut.
