4.3. Switching Modes and Power Off

  • Switching Modes: To switch between RX and TX modes, disconnect the device from the USB power source for 3 seconds, then reconnect it and use the mode switch. Note that after changing modes, the pairing history will be cleared.
  • Power Off: To turn off the device, disconnect it from the USB power source. If in RX mode, you can also hold the power button for 5 seconds to power it off.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the USB connection is secure and the power source is active. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
  • Cannot pair with device:
    • Ensure the adapter is in the correct RX/TX mode for your intended use.
    • Make sure both the adapter and the target device are in pairing mode (flashing LED).
    • Move the devices closer to each other (within 10 meters) and away from potential interference sources.
    • Turn off and on both devices, then try pairing again.
    • Remember that changing modes clears pairing history, so you will need to re-pair after a mode switch.
  • No audio or poor audio quality:
    • Check all 3.5mm AUX cable connections to ensure they are fully inserted into the correct jacks (RX for receiver, TX for transmitter).
    • Verify the volume levels on both the source and receiving devices.
    • Ensure the correct audio input/output is selected on your connected audio system (e.g., AUX input).
    • If experiencing noise, ensure the device is not too close to other electronic devices that might cause interference.
