4. Installation Guide

The KETOTEK Mini AC Energy Meter is designed for easy panel installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:

4.1 Dimensions and Mounting

Ensure adequate space for mounting. The meter requires a standard industrial 22mm hole for installation. Refer to the diagram below for precise dimensions.

4.2 Wiring Instructions

Connect the meter according to the wiring diagram provided. The current transformer (CT) is essential for current measurement.

  1. Connect the measuring voltage input to the designated terminals on the meter.
  2. Pass the wire of the measure loop (the circuit whose current you want to measure) through the hole of the current transformer (CT).
  3. Connect the secondary input of the current transformer to the CT input terminals on the meter.

Important: Ensure all connections are secure and performed by qualified personnel to prevent electrical hazards.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On and Display

Once correctly installed and powered, the meter's HD color LCD will illuminate, displaying the six measured electrical parameters simultaneously.

5.2 Automatic Data Storage

The meter features an automatic data storage function for electrical energy readings. If power is interrupted, the last recorded energy value is saved. Upon power restoration, the meter will display this saved value and continue to accumulate energy consumption from that point.

5.3 Resetting Electrical Energy

To reset the accumulated electrical energy value (kWh):

  1. Locate the reset button. It is a small button positioned at the bottom right of the meter's casing.
  2. Using a thin, pointed object (such as a needle or paperclip), press and hold the reset button for approximately 4 seconds.
  3. Release the button. The electrical energy reading will reset to zero.

This digital energy meter is designed exclusively for measuring standard 50/60 Hz AC city power. It is critical to adhere to this specification. Using the meter to measure:

  • Square waves
  • Inverter output
  • Non-standard sine waves

will cause irreparable damage to the device and void any warranty. Ensure the power source is compatible before connecting the meter.
