Installation Guide
Mounting the Camera
- Identify the desired mounting location on your Jeep Wrangler JK's spare tire mount. The camera can be positioned at the 12 o'clock (top) or 6 o'clock (bottom) position.
- Secure the camera bracket to the spare tire mount using the provided 304 stainless steel screws. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.
- Attach the camera to the adjustable bracket. The bracket allows for vertical angle adjustment of the camera body to achieve the optimal view.

Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring diagram carefully for proper connection. The camera requires a 12V DC power source and a video input to your head unit or monitor.
- Connect the camera's power wire (red) to the +12V reverse wire (typically white/gray) of your vehicle.
- Connect the camera's ground wire (black) to a suitable ground point (GND) on the vehicle chassis.
- Connect the camera's video output cable to the provided 19.69ft/6M extension wire.
- Route the extension wire to your head unit or monitor.
- Connect the extension wire's RCA connector to the video input (Video In) of your head unit.
- If your head unit has a trigger wire for the reverse camera, connect the trigger wire from the extension cable (B) to the head unit's trigger wire (A).
- For factory radios in 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, use the included factory radio adapter. Note that reprogramming by a dealer or yourself may be required for factory display radios.

Operating Instructions
Signal Output Configuration
The camera supports CVBS, AHD, and TVI video signal outputs. The default output is CVBS. You can change the video format and guideline display using the multifunctional switching wire loops:
- Remove Guidelines: Cut the GREEN wire loop to remove the distance guidelines from the display.
- AHD Format (720P, 30fps): Cut the PURPLE wire loop to select AHD format video signal output. This provides a clearer image than CVBS.
- TVI Format (720P, 30fps): Cut the BLUE wire loop to select TVI format video signal output.
- Front View: Cut the WHITE wire loop for front view camera operation (if desired).
Important: After cutting any wire loops, power cycle the camera for the changes to take effect. If you cut the white wire loop, the distance guidelines will disappear regardless of the green wire loop setting, allowing you to use your head unit's self-existent guidelines.

Adjusting View Angle
To adjust the camera's view angle, gently move the camera body up or down by hand. Ensure the guidelines (if enabled) are aligned correctly with your vehicle's path.
Compatibility Notes
- This camera is designed for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models only (not JL).
- For connecting to a factory display radio, an adapter is included, but dealer reprogramming (costing approximately $120) or self-reprogramming (costing $50-$60 for tools) is required.
- This camera is not compatible with suction-cup type dash cams or mirror dash cams due to different connectors or PIN definitions.
- If connecting to a GPS navigator (e.g., Garmin, TomTom), a separate RCA to 2.5mm adapter may be required.
- When selecting AHD format, ensure your Android stereo supports AHD video signal input. Many older Android OS and Japanese brand stereos may not support it. It works well with selected ATOTO F7 Series, S8 series, and A6 KarLink version stereos, but not ATOTO A6Y Series or SA102 Starter.
- The camera's output video signal system is NTSC. Your head unit or control box's signal input must be set to NTSC, not PAL.
Troubleshooting
- Blurry, Flickering, Black, or Black-and-White Image, or Horizontal/Vertical Strips:
Check all power and video connections to ensure they are solid. Try using a different ground point (iron/metal part). Wrap power and video plugs with electrical tape to insulate from interference. If the issue persists, a DC 12V power adapter filter rectifier or relay may be needed to stabilize the video signal. - No Image on Screen After Installation:
Before routing the extension wire inside the vehicle, test the camera. If there is no image, check the video input setup on your head unit. Find the "R-CAM Interrupt" button and select "ON". You can also test the camera with another device that has an RCA connector (e.g., TV, small monitor) to rule out head unit issues. - Guidelines Offset:
If the camera is mounted slightly off-center, the guidelines on the image will appear offset. Adjust the camera's position for proper alignment. - Power Source Connection Issues:
If using T-taps to connect to the reverse light for power, ensure the connection is solid. Loose connections can cause intermittent issues.
Maintenance
- Regularly clean the camera lens to ensure a clear view. Remove any dirt, water drops, snow, or debris.
- Keep the camera's short wire and the extension wire away from high-temperature areas such as the engine or exhaust system to prevent damage.
- Periodically check all connections for tightness and corrosion, especially after off-road driving or exposure to harsh weather.
