Setup and Assembly
Assembly is required for this product. Please follow the general steps below. Refer to the included assembly diagram for specific part identification and fastening instructions.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent damage. Verify that all components listed in the parts list are present.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the main frame sections according to the assembly diagram. Ensure all bolts and screws are finger-tightened initially.
- Attach Legs: Securely attach the birch wood legs to the designated points on the frame. Ensure they are firmly attached and stable.
- Install Slats (if applicable): If the frame includes separate slats, insert them into their respective slots on the frame.
- Place Cushions: Position the main seat cushion and the two large pillows onto the assembled frame.

Operating Instructions
Your HOMCOM Chaise Lounger Sofa Bed offers multiple configurations for various uses.
Adjusting Positions (Sofa, Chaise, Bed)
The sofa bed features a 2-in-1 design, allowing it to transform between a sofa, a chaise lounge, and a flat bed. Both armrests can be independently adjusted to achieve these positions.
- Sofa Configuration: For a standard sofa, ensure both armrests are in their upright position.
- Chaise Lounge Configuration: To create a chaise lounge, lower one armrest to a partially reclined position while keeping the other upright. This allows for comfortable lounging.
- Bed Configuration: To convert into a single bed, fully lower both armrests until they are flat and level with the seat cushion. This creates a continuous flat surface for sleeping.
The armrests offer 5 adjustable positions, providing flexibility in how you use the furniture. To adjust an armrest, gently lift it slightly and then push it down to the desired angle until it clicks into place. Ensure both armrests are securely locked in their chosen position before use.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Fabric
The sofa bed features a linen fabric cover. To maintain its appearance and cleanliness:
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum the fabric regularly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and loose debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain. For stubborn stains, use a mild fabric cleaner specifically designed for linen, following the product instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Pillow Covers: The two large pillow covers are removable and feature zippers for easy removal. They can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach.
Frame and Legs
- Wipe the metal frame and birch wood legs with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
- Instability or Wobbling: If the sofa bed feels unstable or wobbles, check all leg attachments and frame connections. Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened. Uneven flooring can also cause wobbling; consider using furniture pads or shims.
- Difficulty Adjusting Armrests: If the armrests are difficult to adjust, ensure no fabric or debris is obstructing the mechanism. Apply gentle, even pressure when lifting and lowering. Do not force the mechanism.
- Squeaking Noises: Squeaking can often be resolved by re-tightening all assembly hardware. If the noise persists, inspect the frame for any loose joints or components.
