The RUIZU X31 is a portable MP3 player designed for ease of use, featuring a built-in speaker and a 1.5-inch TFT screen. Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB cable to the player's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show progress on the screen.

2. Inserting a Micro SD Card (Optional)
The device has 64GB of internal storage. To expand storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot on the side of the player. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
3. Connecting to a Computer
Connect the player to your computer using the USB cable. The device will be recognized as an external drive, allowing you to transfer music, videos, and other files to its internal storage or the inserted Micro SD card.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top) until the screen lights up.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the "Power Off" option appears, then confirm.
2. Navigation
Use the directional buttons (left/right arrows) to navigate through menu options on the 1.5-inch TFT screen. Press the central button (often labeled "OK" or Play/Pause) to select an option. The "Return" button (often a curved arrow) takes you back to the previous screen.
3. Music Playback
- From the main menu, select "Music".
- Browse your music library by artist, album, genre, or folder.
- Select a song to begin playback.
- Use the Play/Pause button to control playback.
- Use the forward/backward buttons to skip tracks.
- Adjust volume using the dedicated volume buttons (if present) or through the menu.

4. Bluetooth Connectivity
The RUIZU X31 features Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio streaming.
- Go to the "Bluetooth" menu from the main screen.
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
- The player will scan for available devices. Select your device from the list to pair.
- Once paired, audio will be routed wirelessly to your connected device.

5. FM Radio
To use the FM radio, connect the earphones as they act as the antenna.
- Select "FM Radio" from the main menu.
- Perform an automatic scan to find and save available stations.
- Navigate between saved stations using the forward/backward buttons.
6. Voice Recorder
The device includes a voice recording function.
- Select "Recorder" from the main menu.
- Press the central button to start recording.
- Press it again to stop and save the recording.
- Recordings can be accessed and played back from the "Recordings" folder.

7. Alarm Clock
Set an alarm to wake up or for reminders.
- Navigate to the "Alarm" function.
- Set the desired time and alarm sound.
- Enable the alarm.
8. Pedometer
The built-in pedometer tracks your steps.
- Access the "Pedometer" function from the main menu.
- Activate it to start tracking your steps.
- Review your step count and other activity data.
Maintenance
- Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself.
Troubleshooting
Device will not turn on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- If unresponsive, try a hard reset (refer to manufacturer's specific instructions if available, otherwise hold power button for 10-15 seconds).
Cannot connect to computer:
- Check the USB cable for damage and ensure it is securely connected.
- Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the device is powered on when connected.
Bluetooth pairing issues:
- Ensure both the MP3 player and the target Bluetooth device are in pairing mode and within range.
- Turn off and on Bluetooth on both devices.
- Clear previous Bluetooth connections on both devices if necessary.
No sound from speaker/headphones:
- Check the volume level.
- Ensure headphones are properly plugged in (if using).
- If using Bluetooth, ensure it is correctly paired and connected.
