Brewing Hot Coffee (Ground Coffee)
- Fill Water: Open the water reservoir lid and fill with fresh, cold water to your desired level (6 oz to 14 oz).
- Prepare Filter: Open the brewing chamber. Insert the reusable ground coffee filter basket. Fill the filter basket with your preferred ground coffee (up to 25g). Do not overfill. Close the handle firmly.

- Clean Filter: Lift the handle, remove the reusable filter, and discard used grounds. Rinse the filter for next use.
Brewing Iced Coffee
To brew iced coffee, follow the steps for brewing hot coffee (either K-Cup or ground coffee), but ensure your mug is filled with ice before brewing. The hot coffee will brew directly over the ice, chilling it rapidly. Adjust water volume to account for ice melt and desired strength.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and descaling will extend the lifespan of your coffee maker and ensure optimal performance.
Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: Remove and empty the drip tray after each use. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- K-Cup Pod Holder/Ground Coffee Filter: After each use, remove and rinse under running water. For thorough cleaning, wash with warm, soapy water.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
Self-Cleaning Function
The coffee maker features a self-cleaning function to prevent clogging and maintain internal hygiene.
- Fill Water: Fill the water reservoir with clean water to the MAX fill line.
- Start Self-Clean: Press and hold both the "CAPSULE" and "GROUND" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The machine will begin a cleaning cycle.
- Complete Cycle: Allow the cycle to complete. Discard the water from the mug.
- Frequency: Perform the self-cleaning function regularly, especially if you notice reduced flow or taste changes.
Descaling (Every 3-6 Months)
Mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your machine every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water, or use a commercially available descaling solution according to its instructions.
- Fill Reservoir: Pour the descaling solution into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line.
- Run Cycles: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run several brewing cycles (without coffee) until the reservoir is empty.
- Rinse: After the descaling solution has run through, fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water. Run 2-3 full cycles with only water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
- Descaling Reminder: The machine may have an indicator for descaling. Refer to the display or indicator lights for specific prompts.
